Success-led pricing

DropForge is designed around a simple commercial principle: a backorder fee becomes payable only when an accepted request results in a successful catch.

Backorder fee

Accepted orders are priced before work begins, based on the domain, extension, expected release path and any additional handling required. The quoted fee is confirmed in the account workflow.

When payment is due

Payment is requested after a successful catch. If we do not secure the domain, the backorder fee is not charged.

Registry and transfer costs

Registry, registrar, transfer or renewal costs may be separate from the backorder fee where they apply. We identify those costs before completion wherever possible.

Reviewed access

We may decline requests that are unsuitable, unclear, legally sensitive, outside our supported scope or unlikely to be handled responsibly within the service.
